Aracha is a kind of tea rarely consumed outside of Japan, and has its own small following. It represents the state of Sencha leaves just after processing (steaming, rolling and drying), but before grading, sifting and blending.

Aracha gives the drinker a peek behind the scenes to a product in its more rustic, honest state. This particular blend has been subjected to a deep steaming process, lending it exceptional color and fragrance. You may notice a more opaque broth, which lends to the thicker mouthfeel. A personal favorite for our daily cup of green.
